A Gentle Reminder: It's Okay to Just Be
You don’t require permission to simply be, to stop, to pause, to rest you beautiful human.
But if it helps let this message be your reminder to take a moment to simply breathe.
Our perception of urgency, achievement, needing to do more, be more, see more can become overwhelming & the thought of simply stopping or pausing, let alone actually resting goes out the window or heck it even adds to the overwhelm too!
Take more moments you beautiful human. Especially at this often social, festive time of year.
The wheels won’t fall off, in fact the more moments you take to be fully present, to breathe, to care for you & fill your cup the better for our overall quality of life.
So you beautiful human, please breathe.
It’s ok to pause.
It’s ok to fill your cup.
It’s ok to rest.
Even if only a few minutes at a time because I get it, I’m a mumma of 2, wifey, business owner & people person - life is beautifully full.
A Gentle Reminder: It's Okay to Just Be
In the whirlwind of life—especially during the festive season—it’s easy to forget that we don’t need permission to pause. To stop. To rest. But just in case you need it, let this message serve as your gentle reminder: take a moment to simply breathe, you beautiful human.
Life has a way of wrapping us up in urgency, achievement, and the endless pursuit of doing, being, and seeing more. The idea of pausing can feel like a luxury we can’t afford—or worse, another item on the ever-growing to-do list. Yet, the irony is this: the moments we give ourselves permission to stop and simply be are the ones that often bring the greatest clarity, peace, and joy.
Especially now, at this often social and festive time of year, it’s important to take those moments. To breathe deeply. To pause intentionally. To fill your cup so you can continue to pour into the lives around you. Because the truth is, the wheels won’t fall off if you take a break. In fact, stepping back and reconnecting with yourself makes life richer, fuller, and more meaningful.
As a mum of two, a partner, a business owner, and someone who thrives on connection, I know firsthand how beautifully full life can be. But fullness doesn’t have to mean constant motion. It’s in the pauses, in the moments of rest, where we recharge and reconnect with who we are beyond our roles and responsibilities.
So, dear one, let this be your reminder:
● It’s okay to pause.
● It’s okay to breathe.
● It’s okay to rest.
Even if it’s just for a few minutes at a time, those moments are invaluable. They are gifts you give yourself, rippling out to those you love and care for.
Take more moments to be fully present, to nourish your soul, and to cherish the beauty of simply existing. You are enough, just as you are.
From my full, busy heart to yours: please, take care of you
